kat_lair
Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Pairing: Buffy/Willow or Buffy & Willow
Tags: Drabble, Shippy Gen, Advice, Magic, Post-Canon
Rating: G
Word count: 100
Summary: “Wow. I would’ve given it more than, what, six months?”
Author notes: Spring defiance from under the crushing forces of capitalism = a drabble a day in April. This one for
kitarella_imagines who requested Buffy with someone not Angel or Spike :)
Consultation on AO3
It’s not that Willow never expected to see her again but…
“Wow. I would’ve given it more than, what, six months?”
Buffy huffs, face hidden behind a hood she’d presumably donned to avoid recognition by any of Willow’s… Colleagues. Not disciples.
“Can I come in?”
Willow gestures behind herself. “Is the world ending again?” Buffy strides past. “Or is this a social call?”
“The world’s fine. Ish. Me however…” Buffy shrugs out of her jacket, every inch of visible skin covered in swirling patterns. The magic they emanate makes Willow burn.
“Right,” she says faintly. “I’ll put the kettle on.”
