He buys them on impulse. The riot of colours draws his attention, a bold display outside the flower shop trapping customers dizzy with first signs of spring.
The bouquet is large and not cheap; tulips of every shade clutched against Yoongi’s chest so that he can barely see where he’s going.
Good thing his feet know the route already. Better thing still that Namjoon is home.
“You’ve been sad,” is the only explanation Yoongi offers as he pushes the flowers into Namjoon’s arms.
And there’s the smile, complete with dimples, the one Yoongi’s been missing. Worth every penny and more.
