Lonely.
Miracles are meant to be seen, mysteries explored. Lights in the sky, strange prints in the snow, crop laid down in eerie patterns… They deserve astonishment, fear, reverence. For someone to bear witness. Unexplainable phenomena beg for explanations, each wilder than the next. Monsters need someone to separate the monstrous from the misunderstood.
And files? They are meant to be opened. They want to be believed.
