“Absolutely not.” Rodney eyes the group of people merrily stomping through the riverbank, buck naked, covered in mud and singing.
“It is tradition,” Teyla says. “A moment of frivolity to balance the darkness of the winter, the ever-present peril.”
Rodney pinches the bridge of his nose. It may be the spring festival but the wind is cold and he bets the mud is even colder.
“Besides,” Teyla nods at Ronon and John, slip-sliding with the Athosians without a shred of self-consciousness or discomfort, “the others are doing it.”
“Oh for…” Rodney curses under his breath and pulls his shirt off.
