TV things!

Lately my posts have been skewed toward RL ramblings. But I am still watching TV and squeeing about various series, just haven't had time to write about them. Brief overview of what I currently follow and would consider myself to be fannish about.
Supernatural - Up to date with this show.
Loving: Boys, Castiel, the Devil, Chuck, Dean's panty kink, Castiel's orgies, the Winchester brothers clearing air and trying to change their patterns of behaviour, Paris Hilton getting her head axed (I cheered, it was cathartic)
Not-loving: Taking a piss of the fans and fandom. Yes, it was kind of funny at first but now it's just making me cringe. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if you ask me "Can't you take a joke? Where's your sense of humour?" I may just snap. Because that question has propped up a lot lately in other contexts...
Glee - Almost up to date, missing the latest ep I think.
Loving: Mercedes, Kurt, Emma, all the singing and dancing, Sue's creative insults. This is my feel-good show and happy place.
Not-loving: Terry's fake pregnancy is becoming more and more cringe-worthy with every episode. The occasional failtasticness when it comes to issues of gender, ethnicity and sexuality.
FlashForward - I'm up to date with this one as UK TV has been awesome enough to be on the ball with it and showing it currently.
Loving: JACK DAVENPORT AND DOMINIC MONAGHAN AND JOHN CHO UNF UNF UNF. Seriously they are all hot-ass and in the same show. But so far the plot is gripping, I'm genuinely interested in the mystery and the writers' promises of a thought-out story arch with an actual resolution fills me with hope. Also, the fact that THE CROWS DID IT. Incidentally, this is now a thing in our house. Something happens and THE CROWS DID IT!
Not-loving: No idea why but Joseph Fiennes' character, i.e. the main protagonist is really not doing it for me. I just want to smack him lots. Saying that I do want some Demetri/Mark action...
True Blood - Okay so this just started showing on Ch4 here so I'm like... 4 episodes in? So feel free to point and laugh at my misguided thoughts, but don't feel free to give me any spoilers. I realise I'm very much behind, which is why I don't go looking for stuff so please don't actually come and drop them on my lap.
Loving: The opening sequence and the song. Hot. Vampires and more importantly, vampire politics and power play and ceremony and protocol... I'm all over that. Adele who needs to be my grandma right now. Tara and Lafayette. Sam. Sookie when she's showing backbone.
Not-loving: Bill. Too much brooding and emo bangs and unfinished sentences. The fangs. I think they tried to be new and innovative with them, but I just find them silly. Jason, too dumb to breathe and walk at the same time.
Psych - Aaaalso way behind. In a sense that after seeing this fanvid and this fanvid and falling in love on the spot, I finally downloaded the first 4 eps and watched them last night/this morning.
Loving: Gus! Omg so much! Gus/Shawn <3________<3 WHY IS THERE SO LITTLE FIC FOR THESE TWO? Come on, they are BFF since kids, everything I've seen Shawn do so far centres around trying to impress Gus and making sure that he likes Shawn best and doesn't leave him to go play with other kids. I have permanent heart-eyes watching them. The Chief Vick who kicks ass!
Not-loving: Juliet. I really, really liked Lassiter's original partner and was unhappy to discover that they got rid of her to bring in a younger version. She may grow on me yet but at the moment I find her really annoying.
Gossip Girl - I know, I know, I fell into this accidentally and then got hooked like you wouldn't believe. I'm catching up, currently at 2.22 - no spoilers please.
Loving: Chuck. OMG so, so much. He is such a pretty, angsty, bad boy. Also Nate, a boring character that got way interesting as the show progressed. I also have a huge yen for Chuck/Nate what with the whole BFFs with issues and dating the same girl etc. Same goes for Blair/Serena - the friendship between the two is more interesting to me than either of their romantic relationships. Saying that though, of the canon het couples I really like Blair/Chuck. Jenny and Eric, who need to have their own show. I'd watch that.
Not-loving: I know the whole concept centres around the relationships but the main couples splitting up and getting back together in various combinations is getting repetitive. TRY SINGLE-DOM PEOPLE, IT'S GOOD FOR YOU. Lily/Rufus storyline was also mostly boring to me. Also Dan needs a good slap most of the time.
Merlin - Up to date, watching as it airs.
Loving: Morgana, I frankly can't wait her to go to the dark side. Moral ambiguity and grey areas are interesting and I really hope the writers handle that well. Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot triangle. Mordred (the kid is ace!).
Not-loving: Arthur's sudden personality trasplant/amnesia. Every other character is developing yet it feels like he was regressing back to the season 1 prat.
Stargate Atlantis - Okay, wow I lost my love for this when Sunday aired and haven't seen an ep since. I have however now downloaded the rest of season 3 (including Sunday, which I will force myself to watch again) and I have season 4 sitting on my shelf. Have no opinions of this yet, but may very well develop some soon. You have been warned.
In addition I'm also watching sitcoms such as Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, My Name Is Earl, and The Big Bang Theory. I will probably also check out Eastwick and Leverage soon as well. So all of these are something you can squee to me about, and since I have canon knowledge, you can consider them included in my list of "will write" when I ask for prompts etc. :D
Right, enough of this procrastination. I need to have a bath, buy groceries and make fish soup.
