affairs of the pocket - Frank/Gerard, AU. Frank ends up doing community service in a thrift store and working with Gerard's grandmother. This is a lovely AU story with teenage shenanigans and misunderstandings, hugely enjoyable.
crazy mad for him - Frank/Gerard, AU. Awkward commuter train flirting and accidental penpalship.
Dude, Quit Marshing My Mallow - Frank/Gerard. Orgasm denial. ...I'm sorry, what? You need more reasons to read this? Well, how about:This is new. They flirt and they kiss and they fuck, but they haven't talked about kinks or negotiated boundaries or anything like that. They've definitely never done this sort of power play. It felt like a joke at first, Gerard driving him up the wall for the hell of it, but now he's giving Frank a choice: brush it off or make it real. Frank remembers the feeling of Gerard pressing his wrists against the scratchy hotel comforter, holding him down. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. "No," he says. "Fuck. No, make me wait a little longer." Guh.
faster than a heartbeat - Patrick/Pete, Frank/Gerard, AU. They're on a space station! On a remote ice planet! Stuff happens! This is a hugely enjoyable romp around some sci-fi tropes with a big ensemble cast (including Gabe, because Gabe being a crazy dude with a Cobra obsession is maybe my favourite cliche characterisation of him, ngl).
For The Night - Frank/Gerard, AU. Gerard picks up some company for the night. The paid kind. A rent boy AU that manages to be entirely angst free and hella hot.
It Came From Within - Frank/Mikey. Oh god the premise of this sold me instantly: Mikey embarks on a journey of sexual discovery, trying every kink imaginable and then coming home to his increasingly frustrated housemate and best friend Frank and telling him all the details. The execution is delicious, the kinks are handled with knowledge but aren't the be all and end all of the relationship (however, the scene with the erotic photography? Oh Jesus Christ and all the saints that pushed so many of my buttons.) The dialogue and all the wider relationships (Mikey and Gerard's is a particular delight) are a joy. Also check out the sequel Plan B from Planet Clueless
lost in the falling dark - Patrick/Pete, Mikey/Pete, Mikey/Patrick/Pete, Frank/Gerard. I'm a little iffy about threesomes, but sell it to me in context of Pete and Mikey both being werewolves in need of an alpha and I'm all over that shit. The fact that Patrick is fully human, doesn't matter. Oh god, oh goddddddd I was aching for all three of them by the end of the fic, the angst and yearning and need to belong and when they finally get their shit together... *clutches heart with one hand, fans self with other*
Negative Space - Frank/Gerard, Frank/Jamia, d/s themes. The line before infidelity is a blurry one. Jesus fuck this one hurts, but it's so beautifully done that I almost don't mind.
On the Midtown Direct - Frank/Gerard, AU. This is utterly delightful. Another fic where Gerard and Frank share a commuter train and things develop. (Man, I'm clearly taking all the wrong trains, where's my commuter romance?) This story has the feel of a good romantic comedy, and anyone who has ever travelled in crowded public transport will instantly be able to relate to the setting and feelings.
With Words I Thought I'd Never Speak - Frank/Gerard, Gerard/Lindsey, Frank/Jamia. Lindsey and Jamia think Gerard and Frank should just get it on already. The fic deals well with the dynamics and uncertainties of the situation well, without belittling any of the relationships. In fact, my favourite scenes in this are probably the ones between Gerard and Lindsey. Oh, and all of it is also scorchingly hot.
