Spring Drabbles

Life keeps on lifing and work keeps on being a sequence of problems to solve and issues to have opinions on. And I'm not getting the pay extra until next month (backdated) because bureaucracy slow. 

But spring is here. Even my friend in the northern Finland sent a video message of snow melting and swans returning. And in England the magnolias are almost past their prime (less spring, more climate change caused cos it's early af). And that means I want to write light, hopeful, delicate, pretty things. And small things, in the spirit of they are seeds from which some more substantive writing (eyes wip list) grows. 

And so, I've decided that April is for Spring Drabbles (=100 words). So, please help a gal out.

Oh that's fine, I love Nick/Stephen. That had such a tragic ending, Stephen's death is surely one of the best screen deaths. And Nick's was awful too, but less unusual. In fanfic they can have happy times though 💞

How about 100 words for the X-Files reboot pilot which begins filming in May. No character names yet. No plot except this: two experienced agents are assigned to a case that belongs to a long disbanded unit that specialized in "unexplained phenomena." Rumor has it that the case takes place on a reservation, no idea where. No idea which tribe. Has to be a murder case. It sounds like a crossover with Dark Winds, but set in the present day rather than the seventies. The two leads will be played by Himesh Patel and Danielle Deadwyler. They were both in Station Eleven. Ryan Coogler is the writer/producer/director. I am very excited. Can you tell?
