Okay, I have been blessed lately with various flisters linking me to KPop videos Relevant To My Interests. And honestly, I appreciate the high kink, high power play, high neck-grabbing and face-caressing content of all of them so much, to say nothing of the explicitly bondage, gangster or vampire themed ones. I appreciate it a lot and on several levels.
And youtube, the little stalker that it is, of course sees that and keeps suggesting new videos to me. And whilst its algorithm obviously goes 'oh, Kpop' the above mentioned themes are extremely common. So here is another little contribution to the gratuitous vid posting.
Firstly, let's please note that apart for recognising some of the band names and songs (because Spotify's algorithm also knows where it's at rn) I know absolutely nothing about them. Nothing.
That said...
Let's start by unpacking this one. What... What is going on here? A lot, that's what. I sure enjoyed this boarding school/weird cult, age play and shackles mish mash. Absolutely incomprehensible. I loved it.
Relatively tame but I really enjoyed the 'crash landed space military contingent' aesthetic. Slick moves, catchy tune.
And now for the video that prompted an article on queerbaiting in KPop. It... deserves it? This is like a softcore BL manga with the yearning. But also, uhh, some bondage and ass caressing. I'm not exaggarating
And if you want the pwp version of that fic, here is the purely dance vid which gets rid of all the soft focus gazing. For extra fun, take a shot every time you see a nipple (lol those suits)
Anyway, this kind of quality content led me to check out more vids from this band and to my absolute delight, they are all as, if not more, relevant to my interests. This seems to be their latest and it delivers in the yearning and touching
A strong contender to the 'chaotic gangsters' theme, here is a heist vid with a pirate ship that has more plot in 4 mins that most movies manage in 90.
Anyway, I'm going to finish this Kpop Sunday with this. Not actually Kpop in song but in performance yes. Remember the beautiful bondage video I gushed about a while ago (Red Lights by Stray Kids)? Anyway, turns out that one the main singers/dancers in that video likes to showcase his absolutely mesmerising dancing skills to songs by other artists and honestly, a blessing on us all. Please, please do yourself a favour and watch what this person does with his body, I am, uhhh, wordless. Cinders. A husk.

The dance vid is hypnotizing, I've watched it like three times now. I know he's done others but I'm not sure I'm strong enough to click on them yet.

Lovin' the pirate ship heist, yesyesyes. As we know, I am always here for the chaotic gangsters with the moody stares.
And lastly, humans do not move like that and I can therefore only conclude that the final video is a vampire. I count the fact that it is captivating as evidence of that!

I mean, they were wrong about that but... When a video start with someone's wrists being tied behind their back, you know you're in for good times.
I would also watch a movie about this pirate ship heist. What is the treasure?
I concur. What is this boy doing with his body? The over the shoulder finger bite at the start? The slightly unhinged grin with squatting bouncy bit at 1.35. The sinuous body rolls that are a recurring theme in this dance he choreographed himself. I... cannot.

Yes, this was exactly my thought process in response to the start of this video. And I was not disappointed.
There are so many unanswered questions about the pirate ship movie, and the treasure is only the start of it. Like, why are we stealing AND gambling for it? What is the deal with setting fire to everything? What is that whole "I lost my eye/we got your ship" sequence in front of the car?!
It is insanely good. Painfully good, emphasis on the painful. Same as the Boy Meets Evil one. They generate... feelings.
