SPN 2.15 Tall Tales

Oh man, I loved The X-Files episode Bad Blood, so having been partly spoiled for this SPN ep, I was really looking forward to it. And Tall Tales did not disappoint.

Oh my just the pre-credits clips of the boys pranking and insulting each other put me right into my happy place.

How is this professor guy not even a little bit suspicious of the girl dressed in white summer dress in the middle of the winter?? Are men really this blinded by smooth skin and perky breasts?

"I understand how you're feeling and it's only natural." and "I just respect you too much."
*gags* okay, this sleazy guy deserves whatever's coming to him.

ahahaa, Dean being lazy and eating greasy stuff on Sam's bed...

Sam and Dean telling their versions of how things happened... Oh man, I love this episode already.

Sam's version:
Dean doing a shot after shot of purple nurples, burping,  womanising shamelessly
"This is my co-pilot major Tom."
*dies laughing*
Oh god and the girl being the most skanky ho that ever skanked

Dean's version:
I love how the fishnets have turned into almost demure black tights.
And Dean is all Mr. Smooth-Lover
Girl: My God, you are attractive.
Dean. Thanks. But no time for that now. You need to tell me about this urban legend. Please, lives are at stake.
Girl: Sorry, I can't even concentrate. It's like staring into a sun.
*howls with laughter* It's a Dean fangirl for sure

Dean chewing with his mouth open is equal amounts of disgusting and hilarious. *wipes eyes* I guess it is possible for even Jensen to look less than gorgeous sometimes.

The way the camera pans to Dean's face and the action music starts on the scene where he finds the Impala.... Genius

I may have watched that wrestling scene a few times... Like maybe five.

Bobby is awesome. He has the boys looking chastened and contrite in seconds.

Dean's face! The way he's physically in pain for having to turn down the girls...

How much fun did Jensen have, fighting semi-naked gorgeous women... Especially when his face gets smushed right into one's cleavage.
Their coordinated stake throwing!

Winchester brothers conduct most of the their emotional scenes over or in the Impala. I have a theory that having something between them, or something important to do with their hands (driving) stops that hug from ever happening. I'm not really complaining because the foreplay anticipation is sweet.

Oh Bobby "You guys are breaking my heart, could we please just leave?" *squishes him*

And yes, staking a demi-god was way too easy so I wasn't particularly surprised by the ending.

It was so good to have a mythology-free, light hearted episode full of bitching and in-jokes and wrestling and Bobby. I really needed a laugh and SPN provided. I wuv ma show! *snuggles the boys*

I guess it is possible for even Jensen to look less than gorgeous sometimes. - Seriously, how did he get his cheeks to hamster out so far? And also, again, what was he eating? Because it looked nasty. Especially seeing as we were treated to such a lovely view of it. Ick.

What was he eating?! - chilli fries with cheese? Poutine? Chicken bits? Whatever it was, it was disgusting looking.

Bobby must come a regular. He'll keep the boys in line.

I was laughing so hard at times I had to pause because I was missing dialogue.

Jensen's chipmunk face was a wonder to behold... As was Jared's emoting... God, let him do more comedy, it was genius!

I have a feeling we may see Mr. Demi-God again, which would be coolness. - I want this to happen a lot. He would be an awesome character, not straightforwardly evil and somewhat sympathetic to the boys...

He gave us Bobby and anal probes and wrestling, and really, who could ask for more? - It was amazing. Except I wouldn't want all three in the same scene because that would be disturbing.
