Well hello there. I noticed you'd friended me. We've exchanged some comments on my Scrubs fic but it's nice to learn a bit more about you.

I quite like U2 also :) And my cat icon reminds me of my first cat who used to bare his belly for stroking and when you did, he'd scratch you.

there's a lot of SGA stuff! Not that I mind or care, but it's just something I know nothing about so it's a bit weird haha. - hee, yeah, I can see how that might be a bit strange if you're not into the fandom. But. I did get House Season1 for Christmas. Plus will soon be getting season3 on the telly, so will hopefully get inspired by that again :)

8. an interesting fact about you: my only moment of real teenage rebellion was when I went out and got my lip pierced without my dad's permission. unfortunately, it didn't stop bleeding for hours and hours, and swelled up so bad that my mum took me to the hospital to have it removed. ;-;
9. are you in love/have a crush at the moment: I have a crush on Sam Troughton after seeing him in Hex last night. *hangs head in shame*
10. favourite place to be: either in bed, or dozing on the chairs in the foyer of the sixth form block.
11. favourite lyric: anything by My Chemical Romance (or more accurately, Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance). A lot of it sounds better set to music, though >_>
12. best time of the year: Autumn, when it's cold enough to wear scarf and coat, but nice enough that you can go for long walks through the leaf litter.

squirrels are vicious creatures. "squirrel" was also one of those English words that was especially difficult to learn when I was a kid, I have like traumatizing memories of being made to try and pronounce it in front of a class (it's the q-sound, still gets me in other words as well). Erm. I felt like sharing that.

5. what are you listening to now/have listened to last: my songlist on windows media set to random - currently Sunshine On Leith by The Proclaimers.

7. if you do, what is particularly good/bad about it: the enthusiasm! The squee and friendliness.
8. an interesting fact about you: I hate big sneezes, so trained myself to make little bird sneezes instead. Now I sneeze three times in a row quietly, instead of one big loud one!

1. a film: Happy Texas. William H Macy is just perfect in this.
2. a book: Three actually - I ALWAYS recommend these: "Flanders" by Patricia Anthony. Fairly self explanatory. "The Vintner's Luck" by Elizabeth Knox - beautiful beautiful story about a Vintner who, once a year, spends a night talking and sharing his life with an angel. Stunning. and "The Man Without a Face" by Isabelle Holland. Eradicate the Mel Gibson movie from your mind and read this book. I read it at least 4 times a year. at least.
3. a band, a song and an album: This is harder for me, I'm not very musically minded. Erm,a band - I tend to listen to individuals - newest 'band' cd would be The Kooks. Album would be erm,Jasom Mraz Mr A-Z or Cat Stevens Best of. And song? My fave song changes every hour. At the moment is is Kanye West - Jesus Walks, and Dory Previn Lady with a Braid.
