Woo, a Jester! Still, I’m vaguely confused about his role in the whole plot.
Allan raising a sword against the courier! I’m pretty sure he missed deliberately though.
Still, how is Allan suddenly so genuinely cold-blooded? Still, he looks good thoughstriding in the woods in all black.

Robin totally practices those little speeches. Possibly in the shower whilst washing in a creek.
Wtf, how did the guy just die? I mean he wasn’t injured beforehand and if you fall of the tree and don’t break your neck (which would result in an instantaneous death) then surely your chances of survival are actually pretty good. He wasn’t even bleeding.

Allan is being the devil’s advocate there, whispering into Guy’s ear about how the Sheriff is not going to care whether Marian lives or dies.
Um, aren’t they risking a genuine forest fire with this plot? But… maybe this is some very subtle social commentary on the recent forest fires around the world? Er. Or maybe not. Dammit, where is the deforestation episode? My life will not be complete without.

I, too, wanted to molest Much. I also wanted Robin to molest him, possibly with help from Will. Or Carter, except he's not there anymore. But mostly I wanted Robin/Much. It's so obvious that Much is making himself look adorable now that Marian is taking his place in Robin's affections.

If this were not simply a BBC Saturday night family drama I'd expect a huge backstory as to how much is suddenly so much more confident. As it is I'll just have to resort to fandom. I almost felt bad for Guy when he was going to get Marian out of the tree. He's so lost when it comes to her.
I loved that the Sheriff actually came up with the MOST excellent plan of just sending out the falcon to eat the pigeon. I'm glad it was a decoy, but it was a very clever response. (and I shouldn't forget to mention how much I adore the Sheriff's little temper tantrums. He's just so much fun)
Allan is the most interesting character. I wonder where that came from? But I do rather approve. mostly

There's been some talk about who they're going to kill at the season finale. Part of me wonders if it's going to be Guy, dying in some tragic fashion to save Marian. However, a bigger part of me is afraid that it will Much, sacrificing his life for Robin. The absolute worst thing, however, is that I'm going home (and my mum's dial-up) for the Christmas and won't get to see the last two episodes until January when I'm back. OMG the agony!
Sheriff's falcon made me literally gasp! It was a clever plan.
Allan is interesting because he's suddenly more two-dimensional with all this moral conflict. Characters who are straightforwardly good or evil tend to be boring.
