So tell me about this show. I don't know it, but I've heard about it a time or three. What's it about?

Isn't it just blatant?

Oh the show is fantastic. The basic premise is that a modern day copper Sam Tyler gets hit by a car and suddenly wakes up in 1973 Manchester. We see everything from his pov so he's either actually back in time, dead, in a come or something else. Cue lots of angst about Sam seeming crazier than a monkey on crack what with hearing voices from 2007 and trying to force 70s 'beat 'em first, ask questions later' coppers with his gay-boy science approach to policing. Gene is his boss and their relationship is particularly... er, antagonistic. There's a lot of fighting and Sam gets thrown against walls and bent over sinks a lot.

Two for Life on Mars
- Sam/Chris: smut, dirty filthy smut with a submissive Chris. If there is voluntary kneeling (i.e. kneeling at own volition as a sign of submission, adoration, attempt at seduction), I will be your bitch forever.

That said, I would adore this: Sam/Dean: first time, aaaaaaaaaangst, bonus points for religious imagery for my birthday. Sexin is good but emotional porn is even better, i.e. I'm a sucker for the prelude. And after having seen the latest spn episode, I'm eager for some religious themes... But really, I'm happy and grateful for whatever you want to write...

Nah, you spelled it correctly. Starky and Hutch slash is also rather beautiful, despite seen maybe 5 episodes I've read some.

I'm not what you'd call an avid watcher with S&H and probably won't get all fandomy on its ass. But I am rather impressed by how its opening credits manage to be more slashy than most shows in their entire lifetime. *G*

Yes! I have that cover and I remember looking at it and thinking...whoah! I agree with the comment above *points* they were probably going for threatening and just...missed. There's barely open mouths and relaxed hands and leaning, all of which you would definitely not get as a prelude to fighting. Now I am indeed...guh. Can't wait until tuesday!

I couldn't really believe it that they went for something so obviously slashy. I mean there had to be thousands of other photos to choose from (general cast ones, anything of the type they used for billboards ads) and they picked the one that pretty much screams "unresolved issues, power dynamics, and oh yes, sexual tension". The mind, it boggles and melts out through my ears.

OK I have bought the Radio Times and am currently downloading the 1st season, now I have one question season 2 clashes with the new CSI what is a girl to do!

Answer: maybe the fact that CSI could be repeated midnight the same night :)

Have watched first episode and eagerly awaiting more, tell me is the relationship between Sam and Gene always that physical? is it that male bonding thing? intrigued and wanting more :)
