• Reasons why my new (is she still “new” when she’s been living here for 2 months?) housemate is awesome: 1) yesterday we played text tag while she was upstairs and I was downstairs. With Rocky Horror quotes. 2) We both know the words to Aqua’s Barbie Girl. Sometimes we sing it. Life is plastic, it’s fantastic, ooh-ooh-ooh -ooh. 3) Tonight we’re celebrating the return of House M.D. (hi Hugh!) and she’s cooking and bringing wine. The reason she gave me was this: “you’ve been down lately and you shouldn’t be down, because you’re usually such a cheery, funky person to be around”. You guys, I lucked out with this one.

• My baby goddaughter has long toes and fingers. I want photos so bad.

• I’ll be observing the LJ content strike tomorrow. I’m cynical enough to think that it won’t do any good, but equally it won’t do me any harm to stay away for 24 hours. See you on Saturday.

• Ugh, I’ve been coughing the last two-three nights and sleeping lousily. As a consequence my voice has gone all phone-sex husky so if anyone wanted to make a booty call, now would be a good time to do it. Get your money’s worth. 

• I have a hat that apparently makes me look like a 16-year-old jailbait!Patrick. Expect my mouth isn’t nearly

- Housemate House night sounds awesome, even if it will be years before I can manage Rocky Horror again - my wife used to be in the cast, and made me go every weekend. I do have an MP3 of Anthony Stewart Head singing Sweet Transvestite, if you are interested and/or don't have it.

- I applaud your patience. Also, having listened, I'm afraid that people are going to hate it. Two times through, and I'm a fan for life. And I remain iffy on the first album.

- There should be more spanking fic in all fandoms. Most fandoms, at least. My mind still hurts a little from the West Wing Jed/Leo/Josh d/s spanking in the Lincoln bedroom fic from years ago.

- I need to stop listening to podfic (porn) and FINISH your mix. I fail.

- i would indeed be interested in that mp3 - i've seen the clip and it made me a little flaily. in my underwear.

- i've seen music magazines bill it as "the most divisive album of the year" which actually makes me so pleased. it's better to evoke strong emotions (even if they're negative ones) than to be bland.

- having never been that much into West Wing, can't comment on the threesome.

- ahaha, tbh, i haven't even opened your fic file in weeks. I FAIL MOAR.

Sweet Transvestite - ASH . Who was my original Buffyverse crush, and all. British+glasses+tweed = ded!

I remain divided on "Fever" - I like it, but it feels like one really fun 35 minute song. I didn't expect them to be able to pull off something like this, at least not so soon. Warm fuzzy feelings for miles. I actually worry that people will hate it and I will develop strong feelings related to my sudden, unexplicible attachment and lose respect for people who don't like the album. I'm nearly inspiried to spend the entire weekend making a season 3 SPN mix and post it before the album comes out.

West Wing was my big fandom for years. Sam/Josh. Sam/Josh! SAM/JOSH!

At least we know we fail. That's a start. We need some 12 step program or something.
