So, in a probably doomed attempt of Posting and Interacting and Doing Something Else Besides Work Please God, I've decided to have... Maybe... A little go at the...

For the first time ever. I've given it a pass in the past because the timing is murder for anyone working in HE but screw everything this year, and my 90h of overtime in particular. So there.
The first challenge was an introduction so I took the opportunity to write a new Welcome Post and update my profile ever so slightly. Achieve!
In other news, I am WRITING AGAIN HALLELUJAH. Which is both fantastic and depressing, because it took me 1.5 weeks of recovery/holiday to get to the point where words were cooperating again. And now I want to write All The Things but I know that from Monday work is going to try to kick my ass so hard again :( Anyway, I have signed up to another try at
getyourwordsout. I did not achieve my goal last year because 2020, but I did write 86k of fic anyway so fuck you universe. There will be the usual fanworks round-up meme soon. Well, this month?

on 2021-01-01 11:05 pm (UTC)Yeah, having no separation between work and home is really affecting that. It's just been get up, laptop for work, eat, laptop for fun, sleep, maybe go and run around the same part for a bit. I bet having to role model decent working hours helps a lot though in terms of accountability. But yeah, there's the whole thing of 'I either work over time to get thing thing done or it won't get done on time' and being late or not prepared causes additional stress.
