this is more of a comment than a question but when I first read Three Things About James Wilson I said that it was always my own personal head canon that Wilson likes kids but doesn't want any. What I did not mention at the time is why I believe Wilson would feel that way; it's because he has spent so much time around seriously ill kids and heartbroken parents.

*nodnod* That makes total sense. Wilson cares almost indiscriminately, patients, friends, wives... House. But I think he recognises at the same time that it means he could not give the kind of focused love and care to any children of his own.

So, I was intrigued by your M/Moneypenny fic. Do you consider writing something more for those two sometime? What was your favourite part of writing this fic?

Also, I love the tables you used in your recs lists. How can I make a table like that?

Oh cool question! It's very unlikely I'll write anything more for that pairing, tbh. It was a single idea and the outcome turned out to be definitional for me. There are some pairings that I can write over and over again, several versions of first times and relationship developments, and some where I feel like 'that's it', like I've reached some final, defining, version of them, and there is nothing more to say ('the odds are there to beat' for example was it for me as far as Jack/Ianto was concerned).

My favourite part of writing the fic was how effortless and organic it was. The whole thing poured out in an evening, a few days after watching the movie, and I continue to be pleased with the results.

I know what you mean. I also have some pairings I can write all the time and ones that were a one time thing only (sometimes I love the pairing but I don't feel like I'm good enought to write more for them).

I'm very multifandom so always willing to dabble into new fandoms and pairing, but not all of them stick.

Alas, I have not watches season 3 or 4 yet... I mainlined the first two and then got distracted by other things, I'm very bad like that. It is on the list though! I actually want to write the third and final part of 'restless song' trilogy first before that dynamic gets completely jossed... But POI is still keeping me snared!
