an alternative fanfic universe by razorxrosary and kat_lair, documenting the adventures of Andrew “Andy” Gallagher and Ash (surname unknown) from the TV-show Supernatural.

Anywhere Road

The story starts with the premise that after the events of episode 2x05 “Simon Says” Andy was no longer welcome in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Things didn’t quite get to the “torch and pitchfork” stage but for all intents and purposes he was nevertheless driven out by the good townsfolk. With no one else to turn to, he called the Winchesters for help. After a moment’s consideration (Sam considered taking Andy with them, Dean considered selling him to a circus) they dropped Andy, a bagful of clothes, five crates of books, and his psychedelic van at the Roadhouse doorstep and ran before Ellen managed to draw enough breath to shout.

Andy and Ash have a lot in common (unique dress code, illegal drugs, above average intelligence, illegal drugs, specialist skills, illeg– you get the picture), and so it makes perfect sense that even though in canon the two have never met, if they did, they would get along like house on fire (um, bad metaphor). And so in the Anywhere Road Verse they do. One thing leads to another, and soon the boys hit the road on Andy’s magical mystery van, Ash’s mobile computer system riding on the back.

Oh, and in case you didn’t work it out yet, when we say Andy and Ash get along, we mean they really get along. Yes. Like that. Anywhere Road is most definitely Andy/Ash slash, so if that’s not your cup of tea, we suggest you look elsewhere.

Already read and left a comment, but I just had to come back here and say that YOU WIN FOREVER. There isn't enough fic about minor characters in this fandom, and certainly a lot of slash opportunities have been ignored because all the slash is primarily Wincest (this is how it seems to me, at least), and this is just so...refreshing! *showers you with glitter*

Oh wow! THANK YOU! The original idea was razorxrosary's (see the comm FAQs for the longer tale) and we are both very much in love with the Verse. I love Wincest but it can be very intense at times, which is why writing Andy/Ash has been like a holiday...
