It is hot, hot, hot today so I've been alternating between the garden and cool indoors. Cats are completely flaked out in the shade and so am I. The only other thing I've done today worth mentioning is eating ice-cream and writing some Harry/Draco tentacle porn except it's almost at 3k and they are only now getting to the porn. ETA: 3K AND THERE ARE NO TENTACLES IN ORIFICES YET, WTF SELF.

Sounds interesting though tentacles aren't usually my 'thing'. But Harry/Draco is definitely my 'thing' so...

I'm a bit 'off' porn altogether at the moment, as I've been having to deal with some plagiarism and tagging cases on AO3 that make everything on your porn meme look extremely vanilla. I hate being obliged to read stuff that makes me want brain bleach. And read it closely, twice, in the plagiarism cases!!

However, maybe some H/D tentacle porn could shift me back on track?!

Gah, having to read kinks that really don't do it for you sounds awful. You should cleanse your palate with some nice gen fic or maybe some fluff before attempting my tentacle porn... You have time, I need to finish it and get it betaed first :D

I don't mind reading other people's kinks - they might not turn me on but they're usually interesting in a sort of semi-intellectual way and almost exciting that way, too. And I can enjoy the way the characters interact etc. What I mind having to read are things that really turn me off - serious violence/non-con(includes wildly underage). Consenting adults can do what they like and I will react depending on my own preferences but at least with interest. But even adults can't consent to GBH and things like rape or snuff movies or molesting babies might count as kinks in a psychiatrist's estimation but I don't want to have to read...Or at least, not when they're presented as desirable. So yeah, I need fluff and have found some, fortunately.

See, I strongly suspect it's a group of teens egging each other on to be extraordinarily daring etc. but they manage to plagiarise, harrass, mis-tag, mis-warn, etc. etc. in the process.

I also found a long (novel length) Starsky and Hutch story via crack_van, and whilst it was actually too fluffy for my normal tastes it did the trick!
