Another single fandom rec day.

The Social Network

Advent Calendar - Eduardo/Mark. Eduardo receives holiday cards. This is sweet and happy-making fix-it fic.

And knowledge and tears and chance - Eduardo/Mark. The fic takes one of those 'what if' turning points in canon and twists it a little with some excellent results. The night Edward returns from Palo Alto, his girlfriend doesn't reach for the matches but for a knife. It doesn't miraculously solve the problems between Mark and Eduardo, but it sure does make it imperative that they try. Angst and h/c aplenty. Great read.

Best Practices series - Eduardo/Mark, AU. This is a charming two-parter in which Mark meets Eduardo a couple of years later than in canon, when he hires him as his assistant. Everyone is beautifully in character and the awkward courtship and lack of communication is a delight to read.

Delays in Communicating - Eduardo/Mark. What the title says: Mark and Eduardo take an indirect route to talking to each other, Chris and Dusting observe from the sidelines. I really enjoyed the outsider pov in this.

don't love you (but i always will) - Eduardo/Mark. Eduardo marries Mark so as not to have to testify against him. Fake marriage turning real is one of those cliches I enjoy way more than I probably should and this is a great rendition of it. Bonus points for Sean who is actually rather likeable.

From Cover to Cover - Eduardo/Mark, AU. Mark is a brilliant but highly difficult author, Edward is his long-suffering agent. I adored this AU, which played beautifully to my 'expressing feelings through artistic endeavours' kink. Lovely, long read.

Get Me To The Church On Time - Eduardo/Mark. Oh the beauty of this contrived of plot device. Back in the day Eduardo and Mark reserve the Memorial Church, just in case. Several years later, hijinks ensue. Hugely entertaining rom-com.

Harbors of My Own - Eduardo/Mark, AU. Mark participates in a bachelor auction, entirely against his will. Great character voices all around, and the romance sneaks up on you.

pieces form the whole - Eduardo/Mark, AU. Oh man, I love 'His Dark Materials' fusions in any fandom. This one is very good and nicely subtle. The choice of Mark's deamon is particularly inspired.

Sky That's Always Blue - Eduardo/Mark. Where Wardo's affinity to weather is deeper than anyone suspected and Mark really needs to do something about the constant snow in Palo Alto. Awesome premise, adorable execution. The ending, whilst entirely predictable, still made me clutch my bosom from the fluffy feels.
