My name is Robin Hood and
Lol fake ambush. How has no one found their little multi-arrow machines yet?
“We’re back!” Oh Much! It’s awesome to see his happy smile.*pinches his cheeks*
What’s with branding? Ah a new recruitment campaign.
Ahahaha Gisbourne’s hair! Seriously, does your back demon-plagued soul not allow for personal hygiene?
And here’s the feisty new female character... Hmmm... I like the kicking. And the hair. And... no, that’s all I got for now.
Much: Who’s that?
Allan: That’s some girl we just saved.
LOL - Much and Allan should tag-team more... I didn’t mean it like that! ...Wait, no, maybe I did?
Much however needs to work on his seduction technique. Though it would have worked on me...
Guy bonds with his men... Who’s the pretty new boy? Ah, it’s the Irish invasion.
“Ireland for the Irish!” ...Seriously, it was only a matter of time until the Political Issue of the Week (TM) circled around to the Irish...
Were they shouting... Diaspora? Um did I hear that right?
Celts! IDK, that just made me lol.
Ooooh, dissent in the ranks? Robin should totally nominate a 2IC officially so they wouldn’t have to have this argument every time he gets his ass imprisoned.
Lol they lost Kate. That bit was actually funny.
Gis just doesn’t care... “Why should I fear you?”
Sheriff *throws dagger* “Because I’m sheriff of Nottingham!”
The scene was awesome. Guy’s motives remind more interesting than Robin’s ever were...
Awww Much has a little crush. If Kate were to be his love interest it would make me like her a lot more... Also, Much so deserves to get his leg over.
Kate shops Robin for her brother... I’m counting this in her favour.
Brother gets killed anyway... bloodlessly as usual.
OMG Sheriff! Have you learned nothing in villain school? ALWAYS KILL YOUR ENEMIES IMMEDIATELY!
“Poetry of pain” Ahaha, the Sheriff is such a sadist :D
So, Robin Hood: now sponsored by the Irish?
"England already has a king! His name is Richard!
Oh Much with the panicking...
Remember my “Robin sees the forest but not the trees” rant? ... Well now it seems Robin has actually become the forest himself (um okay, the allegory might need some work) and Kate makes a speech about the importance of the little trees... Maybe I can like her after all?
Ooooh brother against brother... ahahahahaha promising Sheriff a county!
Gis really needs a haircut.
And it’s another daring escape. Complete with a make-shift paraglide. Um, what?
Hee, the little shouts of Robin! Much!
“Small group of highly committed men is worth more than an army” ...really, BBC, really, you just went there? Your references to terrorist cells are not nearly as subtle as you think they are.
Oooh sheriff giving Guy to Prince John’s men... I’m more surprised by this than I probably should be, but woah. Also, I really like what this means for Guy’s character development. Possibly also his hair-care!
Much is gazing after Kate... Aww...
Robin is getting an army of his own now? Ooookay then...
General: A little blah. The whole Irish-plot seemed not just silly (which is to be expected after all) but also kind of... boring? Robin and Finn’s interaction was a little ye-us-heroes-mutual-backslapping. Kate... I have to say was predisposed to dislike her but actually didn’t nearly as much as I thought I would. The fact that she wasn’t particularly impressed with Robin was in her favour. Also, I would be interested in seeing the tentative friendship between her and Much developed... as long as we don’t have to see Much go through another doomed crush. One case of unrequited love is enough for anyone. The interesting bits of tonight episode were the internal power struggle between Allan and Tuck, and Guy’s fate. Sheriff’s betrayal finally forced Guy into becoming his own man. He’s now a free agent with his own agenda. Any lingering loyalty that he may have felt for the Sheriff is gone and all that remains is revenge. It’ll be interesting to see if Prince John recognises Guy for a weapon that he is, and sets him loose...
Oh and FYI, I’ll be watching next week but no review as I have parental visit ongoing. Catch you on the flipside.
