I ENABLE PEOPLE WHEN I CAN :DD The fabulous thing about this fandom (and one of the hardest things about it) is that there's actually such a dearth of brilliant fics. It's so hard to pic something to rec, because honestly there are so many. And so many amaaaaazing ones on the kinkmeme too, so you must check it out. The kinkmeme rules my life. I just wish I had more time to read TSN fics, because they are fab.

(I feel like I'm cheating on it with Thor fic, but really, THOR/LOKI. HOW CAN I RESIST THE ANGST AND COMPLEXITY OF THEIR REALATIONSHIP, OMG. I'm such a sucker for antiheroes, anyway).

Out of curiosity: did seeing it make you more or less inclined to get a Facebook? I don't really use mine but I'd lose contact with a whole host of people if I didn't have it (why people fail to use e-mail I have no idea, but some people do).

I wasn't expecting to like it, this type of 'friendship betrayal' usually squicks me, but I was so drawn into the characters. The acting was superb.

I don't think the movie made any difference to my stance on Facebook, which has always been that I don't need it. My online presence is rooted on LJ. I don't have very many close non-fandom friends, so with them I keep up with via email/phone/visits. I have no wish to blur the lines too much, or to be freely available for my students to check my profile or something like that. I have absolutely no desire to connect with like old class mates or something. *shrugs*

I very recently watched this film also (AND IT MADE ME CRY OH JESUS) so I will be quietly harvesting recs! I was going to recommend thisissirius's a submission to reason, which is incredible, but I see someone already has. Likewise I am upvoting everything _calex_ recced, because all of those are quality.

IKR, I was not expecting to be like emotionally invested in the film. But I was. Which is why I needed all the fix it fics in the world.

I read 'a submission to reason' already (c'mon, d/s, how could I resist that?) and 'lo it was glorious. I've going through some of the reclists as well, just rolling around in the new fandom. Wheeeee!
