I hadn't even watched any of this series apart from ep one, but after seeing someone commenting about Mitchell's death on twitter I had to go and watch this ep.

You should watch all of them, the season's been amazing, each episode leaving me totally gripped. I mean, it being George was really obvious to me from the beginning but jfc! I was half expecting him to just Not. Die. even with a stake to the heart, but... Do we know for sure whether Aidan Turner is leaving or whether they'll do a Buffy here?

Okay, I'm like 4 eps behind since I can only watch it on BBCA, but I am dying to know what happened. I have all these ~theories and I'm totally all for spoilers.

Mitchell died, right? He had to have, it's what the whole season has been about. TELL MEEEE. O__O

fkjdjdjdklf okay 'cos you asked. So over the last few eps... Herrick comes back, has amnesia, stirs shit up, Mitchell loses his grip more and more, Nina tips off the police that he was the killer, police investigate him, Annie finds out the truth, makes Mitchell let himself be arrested, Herrick gets his memories and evil back, stabs Nina (who btw is pregnant in case you haven't got to that yet), gets Mitchell out of jail, bunch of people die for being in his way, outs Mitchell as the killer for George EXCEPT HE ALREADY KNEW, there's angst and drama, George says Mitchell is no longer his friend, Mitchell is now at the end of his rope, kills Herrick, comes back to the house to beg George to kill him, a vampire who's an Old One shows up and threatens everyone wanting Mitchell to be his bitch basically, there's bunch of more drama and in the end George kills Mitchell saying 'I'm doing this because I love you' and I have to stuff a hand into my mouth to stop from wailing.

Yeah, the "new" one for me last night was where Nina and George have Macnair come in to help w/ the pregnancy and Annie and Mitchell have to spend the night in the dogfight cage, etc. I hadn't even considered George for killing Mitchell though! Maybe I'm just dense but I really expected it to be some big hostile situation w/ an angry werewolf, not George doing it as a favor.

Ohhh, I hope they bring him back somehow. I'm kind of head over heels for Aidan Turner, I'd hate to see him go permanently. I keep thinking maybe they'll somehow make him a ghost too? So then he and Annie can actually be together for real, since they seem to be so set on continuing that. Then he wouldn't have to deal w/ the hunger anymore, and he could feel better about himself.

Ahhhhhhhh idk god, this show just throws me for a loop every time.

This season has been constantly amazing and what a way to end it. Only wish the fandom was bigger so I could indulge in fic more...

My friend and I have been watching the american version on syfy and really enjoying it. Now I'm curious to see if they will follow this. And apparently the vampire in my version is called Aiden as a shout out to the original actor. And before I forget, your layout is gorgeous, from the colors to the pictures, just lovely!

I have to say, I'm not interested in the American version in the slightest. Like, even if they'll develop their own storyline, which I assume they must, I can't quite see the point. *shrugs*

I didn't even finish last season. It just didn't click with me the way it used to. BUT from what you posted in the comments it sounds like the show changed around and became awesome again \o/ too bad I don't have time for yet another show :(((

I quite liked most of season 2 as well, but this season has just been relentless - I know what you mean about just not having the time, though. Too many shows!

Yeah, Mitchell going off the rails was attractive but annoying. George, however, remains awesome.
