-    To those of you interested, the results of this poll are as follows: Singular of a baby-dyke is a dykelet. Plural is a shrill. For example: ‘A dykelet rejoining her shrill typically emits a high-pitched squeal in greeting.’ or ‘Canal Street was so full of free roaming shrills I could barely move.'
-    I saw the most awesome rainbow the other day, just at the end of my road.
-    Have managed to whittle the conference paper into something that fits into the 20min time limit. Will be spending tomorrow practicing, and then presenting on Friday morning. Wish me luck.
-    I wish it would stop raining. I’ve had laundry out for like four days now and it hasn’t had a chance to dry at all. Finally gave up today and brought some of it to dry inside.
-    Tonight I’m in a meh mood. Also my toes are cold.
