Yes to everything you say. And this person's concept of what constitutes 'male' and 'female' is I think universally insulting. I think men should vbe furious about the implications that they just want to blow shit up and have no interest in feelings, relationships or contemplating the human condition...

Absolutely. Leslie, Colin's best friend, adores Harry Potter and similar books and series and will discuss those and the relationships for ever. He's a physicist working in industrial sound control... Colin does a lot of contemplating the human condition at great length... Neither of them like the 'blow shit up' type of sci-fi though they quite like the 'blow shit up' type of thriller but then so do I!(e.g. Bond)
I think this guy is so weird he's off the radar! But he must be making quite an impact as a lot of my f'list have commented on him.
