“Time to go.” Mikey pulls his brother out of the door, the party continuing undeterred behind them.
They make it to the car this time before Gerard reaches for him. That’s not always the case.
“It hurts. Please, I need.” Gerard is shaking, his hands clumsy and frantic on Mikey’s belt. “Just want to feel good. Please.”
Mikey doesn’t know which is worse: That Gerard is too drunk to know who he is with, or that he isn’t.
Either way, Mikey can never say no.
“Shh. I’ve got you.”
When they kiss, Gerard’s mouth tastes like tears and cheap vodka.

PS What's the story with the vintage clothing shop AU? That was so much fun! Less like angsty incest, more like gay shenanigans. Fun in a different way, heh.

I had a small paragraph written about the other times when they've ended up in back alleys, abandoned bedrooms, filthy club toilets, pressed together from knee to mouth, two breathless curses from discovery, no knowing who is using whom and unwilling to find out. But it didn't make the cut.
...wait what? *eyes the fanfic goddess suspiciously*

ps. vintage clothing shop still needs editing. Just haven't had time to sit down with it. Been running around the last few weeks, seeing friends and family, and frantically trying to pull together a conference paper that I have to give on Friday... I kind of really want to dedicate next weekend for it though... I did send you an email thanking you for the awesome beta, didn't I? IN MY MIND I DID! I'm really sorry if I actually haven't... But your beta was really thorough and ehlpful but yours and the other beta's comments mean that the fic needs a bit more thorough editing and perhaps some rewriting, which is something I need a solic block of time for, not just 30mins here or there... But yes, it's totally coming sometime soonish!

on 2009-09-13 02:10 pm (UTC)Someone must have written waycest with that dynamic? I haven't read much at all but reason dictates that they must have... One of the pet peeves for me about incest fics is that if the issue isn't addressed at all. I mean it doesn't have to be a cause for huge angst, depends how you handle the dynamic, but it is still something that can't be ignored all together. And the potential for things to go wrong and twisted in a way that leaves everyone hurting is something that as a writer intrigues me hugely. Even though as a reader I tend to stay away from too much darkness. So we'll see, I guess.
The fact that academics > online porn is equal amounts of sad and true. :(
