Father Gabriel is not like other priests. “It’s not about right or wrong. It’s not about sin,” he says. “It’s about feeling good.”

Then again, this is not like any other church Brendon has been to. He’s nodding along, dizzy from the smoke drifting around the low ceiling. It makes sense. Things can’t be both good and bad, can they?

People around him press close, humming. Everyone’s happy. It means Brendon must be happy too.

Father Gabriel tilts Brendon’s face, smiling down at him. The look in his eyes is pure love. “Time has come for your devotion,” he says.

omg *wipes brow* You have no idea how relieved I am that you liked this. Because I'm a complete idiot I wrote it, posted it, and pm'd you about it and only then thought about how I don't actually know what your feelings toward creepy slightly dub-con fic like this are. Then I naturally had a "omg she hates it and is going to defriend me" moment...

Well you know my thoughts on this. I love filthy bad Gabe and he's all that in here. Brendon is so innocent. You just know that Gabe is going to enjoy taking the innocence away *grins evilly*

Yes I knew you would like this for all the right (wrong) reasons... I don't think Father Gabriel sees it as spoiling Brendon's inoocence, but as helping him find enlightenment. Because the duality between spiritual love and carnal love is a false dichotomy.
