Unf, this episode was so good. I'm totally on board for this type of mythology arc, especially if they keep it ambiguous and grey (as opposed to black-and-white, clear-cut good vs. evil).

I think I alienated some people by LOVING the opening and actually praising the show for not pulling back on the whole sex and violence aspects. I adore that they refuse to compromise the world and the characters they have created in order to be more "PC" about it. Also, it rocked!

I've been trying to figure out what is going on with our dearly beloved Sammy, because he sure seemed off kilter this week. Also, that motel room had mirrored ceilings!?!?! Sammy, apparently kinkier than previously expected.

While Castiel was hot, I'm sort of hoping we get a different actor/actress every week, so Dean never knows who it's going to be and it always looks like some sort of cheap bar hook-up. Also, for the inevitable moment that we get Castiel possessing Sam, and the Dean/Castiel-as-Sam porn (OMG, angel-enabled gay incest \o/)

Am scared that it's going to be the break-up Sam and Dean season, as the two forces pull them apart ;(. In my mind, Dean would renounce god and the angels and all the forces of good to be at Sammy's side, even if Sam is the king of the demons, but I don't think show would go there.
