Why? Because I re-watched it last night. Because it is the gayest non-gay movie ever in the gay history of ever. Because I had the craving for the LOVE THAT DARE NOT SPEAK ITS NAME OMG MAVERICK AND ICEMAN DOING THE NASTY IN THE OFFICERS CLUB TOILETS. Because when my childhood memories are defiled I want to share the experience.
The Next Step by Elisabeta - it's not perfect (there seems to be some formatting issues as an occasional word looks really screwed up and it gets a bit too mushy towards the end) but it's by far the best I've found. There's angst and even a plot and I can actually see it happening this way. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, this is what was going on throughout the movie.
