"Hey," Alex says. "Let's get a photo together. To, you know, commemorate this momentous occasion. And to make Gabe jealous." 

"Sure," Ryland says, always agreeable. He motions Alex over, his other hand holding his camera at arm's length. Alex goes easily, fits himself against Ryland's shoulder and grins at the unblinking black eye of the camera. It's so familiar, from years of being on the road with Ivy League, from years of being friends. They've got pictures of them like this in every state and every bar. Alex wraps his fingers around Ryland's neck and pulls the most absurd face he can think of, knowing without looking that Ryland is doing the same.

Yeah. And then I get on stage, and I'm all "I THANK MY BEST FRIEND AND CORRUPTING INFLUENCE, KAT!" and the camera cuts to you in the crowd being all ":D!".

Okay, I've pimped it there. For you. Because, technically, this is your fic, so if you asked me to print it out, light it on fire and then put it on my head, I probably would have to. Even though, now, the chances of Alex and Ryland finding out about this fic is exponentially greater than before.
