Bobby never planned on coming back. For one, such things never go as intended. For two… Well, he reckons he’s done. Permanently retired.
But some things are stronger than death. Stronger than blood too. And his boys… Well, they’ve always been his by ties stronger than either.
So, when they need him, when they call…
The veil is sticky, like spiderweb. Bobby doesn’t even try to get through by force, knows it would never work. Instead, he lets himself fall into the glimmering folds, lets himself be engulfed by the gossamer stands, falling deeper. Then through.
To the other side.
