Story Summary: A dead body covered in blossom, a torn and blood-stained t-shirt for a group who go maypole dancing, and the potential involvement of an Oxford don, can only mean another case for Detective Inspector James Hathaway. As Hathaway and DS Tomlinson, with the occasional input from ex-DI Robbie Lewis, begin their investigation, they discover the origins of the case may date back to a time before the Norman conquest.
