wasn't it just perfect! All wonderfully angsty and the woe and. oh yes.!
And I worried so for the original Jack who will get gay-bashed the second the camera panned away, yes, so did I - I thought, they'd get away with the dancing,,, maybe.. but then the kissing and the loving. But then I pacified myself with "oh it's okay, he dies anyway", then had to forgive myself for thinking that! Positively speaking - at least this way Jack (the real one!) had a moment of sublime beauty and self realisation before he died. Or something!
Gwen's scene over Rhys's death was so realistic it hurt, I was bawling like a baby. snap. And i have seen none of this show, Ihave no investment in the characters other than jack from DW itself, yet the power of this had me wailing. So intense.
why the fuck was the Ianto/Jack kiss cut so quickly? As I said, i haven't been watchingthis, so not as involved. But I loved that the Jack/Ianto kiss was 'ignored' almost. I loved the fact that it was matter of fact. It was just Jack kissing him without big fanfare of drama. Seemed to mean more to me that way.
My Mum phoned me 10 minutes from the end - I just barked at her that I would call her back and hung up! Fancy interupting that!
and the "right kind of doctor" bit, with the tardis and Jack - Oh I was soooooo excited. Laughing in glee!
your questions -yes! also: we still have Jack to realise that it's no longer Nine, plus he kissed Ianto - obv I with no knowledge of what's gone on before, but will that be what brings him back to Torchwood? Will it be self sacrificial or will it just be woe and not bonding as Ten. Oh God they have to bond as Ten!

I wish I'd watched them all now!
