razorxrosary to post this ever since she started babbling about it in her LJ and then on IM. I was very insistent about getting to beta it, mainly so that I would get to read it first. Fic: "Into This Wild Abyss" (PG-13, Gen)

razorxrosaryWhy you should read it: I... I don't even know how to describe the awesomeness of this fic. It's essentially a Robin Hood/His Dark Materials fusion fic, detailing how the characters' dæmons settle into their fixed form. The fic is full of subtle insights into each character, their past, personality and relationships. The story is gorgeous and often heart-breaking. The Much&Robin section still makes me tear up, even after reading it umpteen times during betaing. It seems there is a "dæmon fic" in most fandoms now, and it was possibly only a matter of time until someone wrote one for Robin Hood. I'm so glad it was
razorxrosary, because the quality of writing and characterisation is guaranteed. Go read now and leave the author some love.
