Jihoon is like a rose. It sounds corny and trite, and Soonyoung would never say it out loud, certainly not to Jihoon. But he doesn’t mean one of those fragile, cultivated roses from a shop, beautiful and bland, crumbling faster than a one-night stand. No, Jihoon is like a wild rose bush, fierce and tenacious, blooming in riotous defiance of its environment, all colour and heady scent if you catch it at the right time.
Full of thorns at all times. Get too close, make one careless move and you’ll be sliced to ribbons.
Might still be worth it though.
