I have fond memories of Connotations and Nine Worlds, and smaller gatherings in specific fandoms, so this idea as a whole sounds ace (more or less anywhere along the size scale) - my "depends" factors would be timing, the general area of fandom focus having some overlap with my own, and if anyone in my direct circle is planning to go.
