Now for the 4th answer to the Kinky Fuckbuddy, Vanilla Fuckbuddy, One Night Stand meme:mekare gave me Cumberbatch!Holmes, RDJ!Holmes and Jeremy Brett!Holmes... Iiiinteresting!!
One Night Stand: Cumberbatch!Holmes
He's very, very pretty but by god even the idea of anything longer than two hours exhausts me. Definitely also read him as a bratty sub but unlike RDJ!Holmes, I find him genuinely too annoying for that to be a fun game. Would prefer to be a spectator rather than active participant.
Vanilla Fuckbuddy: Brett!Holmes
I honestly don't know much about Brett!Holmes. I've only seen maybe couple of the episodes/TV movies with him so I'm basing this selection entirely on this charming picture of him with the rose (aww) and process of elimination. Cumberbatch!Holmes is too much hard work for anything long-term and my desire to push RDJ!Holmes to his knees and make him choke on my fingers overrides everything else here. Anyway. Brett!Holmes seems like a gentleman. Would probably wine and dine you even if it was just casual.

Listen. I very vividly remember watching the first SH movie in the theatre and early on there's the scene where Watson finds Holmes hiding away in his den and experimenting on their dog and he like flings the curtain open and Holmes just flinches and then he crawls, crawls on all fours, to sit at Watson's feet... And reader, I died. And by 'died' I mean 'made an undignified noise and swallowed my own tongue'. I'm frankly so mad I couldn't find pics of that scene that I screencapped it myself:

Then there's the bit where he goes to get a shit beaten out of him at the boxing match in the hopes that Watson in watching (also Irene, but bet your ass this is a habit of his), and also the constant poking and 'pay attention to me' that sometimes gets him a fist to face and the in the sequel, the dancing and ughhhhh... Basically, what I'm saying is that RDJ!Holmes is the brattiest, neediest sub that will relish every slap, secretly wants to be hand-fed and really, really enjoys being pushed around and spanked and having his hair pulled and thems the facts.
