Season's Greetings

Hello everyone! I have relocated to Finland for the festive period. So far it's been nice, cooking and baking and cleaning with mum. Sorting some dad's stuff as usual. S's new baby is here but I can't see her yet because I have a stinking cold and would rather not give it to a newborn
and new mum. T is coming over for Christmas to spend it with us like last year which will be nice.

I have also managed to squeeze in some writing time, sorting Lewis Winter Exchange assignments, finally watching Captain America (yes, I know, but it was always going to be one of those movies I'd end up catching when it was on TV and 'lo it finally was).

I've been absent a lot, I know, and honestly I'll probably continue to be absent some more. Life is just kind of full now. But DW(LJ) continues to be an important place for me. So, I'm hoping you all have a lovely time this midwinter season, however you celebrate.

Was it the first Captain America movie or the second. I loved both. But I adore Captain America.

Thank you! I've been a really shitty flister this year so I'm mostly just grateful people haven't left in disgust :D

It was the first Captain America movie, which, yes, I KNOW. I did like it though I feel I've seen the key scenes in fanvids before enough to expect the emotional impact. I didn't expect evil Elrond though so Hugo Weaving as the Res Skull was a fun surprise.

Thank you, and I hope you and family have a lovely holiday season! Cold is getting steadily better and I won't leave until the 5th so chances are good I get to visit the baby before that!
