Agh, there are people who have done this in Manchester but they only have a tupid myspace and I can't seem to be able to actually get in touch with them...

As for the visit... The only prolonged period I won't be free is 12-15 October when I'm at the Connotations slash con. Apart from that I might be working a couple of days a week or so, but nothing that couldn't be planned around. Were you thinking before Christmas? Next year I can't really say anything about yet.

I was thinking before Christmas because I don't know about next year, either. I have a week off 22-27 October, but is that too soon? And Mum might came for a visit (or she wants me to visit them then). After that week, I have a Linguistics essay deadline coming so it would have to be after that, which is 5th of November. What do you think?

I'll definitely be working evening of 23rd and then most day on 24th and 25th. So in that sense the November would be better. At the moment I don't have anything concrete down for the two weeks 5-18 of Nov so any time between that time would be good I think. Of course the weather will be absolutely horrible in November so sightseeing might be limited to dashing from one indoor place to another...

Semmoisia viikottaisia menoja mulla on että tiistaisin 16-18 olen opetushommissa ja kerran viikossa käyn yhellä tutulla siivoamassa, mutta muuten ei ole mitään sellaista mitä ei voi vähän järjestellä.

Kuinka moneksi päiväksi haluat tulla? Viikko on ehkä semmoinen perinteinen reissun pituus...

Kyl mä yksinkin hetken tulen toimeen! Varmaan jotain opiskeluakin on, niin voin käyttää sen ajan hyödyksi koska sä olet kuitenkin häiriötekijä jos olet vieressä! :D
