Firtly, let me just say THANK YOU! You leave some awesome feedback.
I am especially giddy as I didn't think this story was anywhere near my best, plot- or language-wise and to me it felt a bit blah. So to get such enthusiastic feedback on it is great beyond the telling of it!
This was a first attempt at an AU so I'm relieved to hear character voices stayed recognisable. And the things you say about my writing... *blushes furiously* just... thank you so much. I have a permanent fear of sounding too pompous and pretentios as I often tend to get carried away with metaphors and similes so reassurances to the contrary are appreciated.
While it is always nice to read compliments, concrit makes the writer's world go around. Phonetically spelling Carson's accent is something I fluctuate wildly with, sometimes I do it, sometimes I don't, always feeling unsure as to wich way to go (cheesh, I think that rhymed). This time I included it at my beta's suggestion, (which is not to blame her in any way, because I could have not followed the suggestion) as it seemed to fit. If there's a lot of dialogue then I tend not to go overboard with it but here there wasn't so I thought why not. But. It's always good to hear other people's opinion on these matters, thank you.
In summary: Me = flattered and gleeful. You = rocketh hard.
