"Almost Always" and "Almost Never" are going to be connected. Both are '5 things' fics, just, er, considerably longer than those things usually are... The concept took my brain over... it'll be "four ways Sam and Dean almost crossed the line, and one way they did", and then the other one will be "four time Sam and Dean crossed the other line (er, that being the line between life and death), and one way they didn't"
