this being accidental-to-intentional in many ways - I think I might have already been talking about this in a comment somewhere, but this is how many relationships and kinks start, accidentally. Rarely do we systematically go through people or things to find out which ones we really like. Usually we stumble across these things accidentally and unexpectedly... And once Mikey had done that it made sense for him to experiment with that, but in a way that was as low risk as possible. Again it's pretty similar for how people usually gauge if someone is interested; by accidentally-on-purpose creating situations where something could happen, by putting up signs that say 'notice me i'm available'.
it makes so much sense that Gerard was a channeling of yourself, because you wrote him so well - wow, thank you very much! It wasn't a conscious decision to do it, only afterwards it was pointed out to me and I was all '...okay yeah, there might be something to that... oops?'
Heh, and out of curiosity, were you channelling yourself into Mikey in 'Before and After' then?
