That's Exactly it! Ray's the type of guy who probably wants to give so many people a smack per day just for little things, that it all builds up inside him and bursts out through his fists!
As for getting Rays voice right, I don't think anyone could actively like him, but he's just got so much potential for evil that I think he sort of writes himself (especially when unleashed onto an innocent Chris...). Or possibly you have an insane jealous dominant streak, both work for me!
