I have been spending quality time with some Flisters lately. On Friday I met trialia for lunch, which finished around 7.30 pm. On Sunday. She managed to get a concussion by banging her head on the bus ceiling (no, I don’t know either). After a trip to the walk-in-centre and A&E I decided it was best to put her under observation for a couple of days and took her home with me, fed her and let her watch my House M.D. Season 3 boxset (and perve about Cuddy – seriously, I’m signing trialia up for internet dating, that girl needs to get some action and soon).

Then on Sunday evening I picked up divalucia from the train station. She’s moving to Sheffield for a couple of months to ramble do some research and needed a place to crash for the night. We had delightful conversations about fandom and the heteronormative nature of majority of the bdsm scene, exchanged some music and movies, and watched fanvids (the silly girl made the mistake of confessing not being familiar with that particular fanmedium). I also heroically restrained myself from pimping Bandom to her in deference to her fragile, travel-worn state. It would have been a bit dub-con to do it then, I think… *gg* Though next time all bets are off.

The trend of Flist meetings continues for the summer. I’m seeing moth2fic regularly as we work our way through her sprawling hobbit-hole, dusting and cleaning and organising. margaret_r is set to visit her in July so the plan is for all three of us to have lunch on the Canal Street at some point. July also promises to bring scruby to the not-so-sunny Manchester for a day or two, during which we will sit in a pub, drink something alcoholic and talk about Life on Mars, among other things. Oh and of course pushkin666 and goetterdamerung are descending on me next week for what will undoubtedly be three days of wine, kink, and giggling. Can’t wait!

And thank you! It's an old story (as they accept previously published works) so nothing exciting there, but the Anthology as a whole is pretty awesome and I'm pretty damn pleased to have been accepted.

*wonders if teleportation would make jet lag better or worse, or just really confusing* I can barely remember what time/day/month its supposed to be as it is.(I dated something April 27th today? And realized only after I sent off the time-sensitive govt paperwork it belonged to. Hopefully, the PTB will just think I'm a moron.)

Inhumane torture! Tosin minua huvittaa suuresti tämä siedätystukihenkilön roolini. Mitähän siihen toimenkuvaan kuuluu? Näytänk esim. valokuvia jwalkerista ja selitän rauhallisella äänellä miten "kokemasi tunteet ja fyysiset reaktiot ovat normaaleja eikä niitä pidä säikähtää". Olisipa hienoa pistää lomakkeisiin aina "ammatti" kohtaan että "JWalker siedätystukihenkilö".

Mut hei, minä näin PStumpista unta tässä joku yö, mutta en myöskään valitettavasti silleen vaan unessa eräs kymmenen vuotta sitten tuntemani poika/mies/ääliö oli rikkonut Patrickin kitaran ja Patrick ymmärrettävästi halusi rikkoa vastineeksi sen naaman ja minä jouduin olemaan siinä välissä toppuuttelemassa. Jossain vaiheessa pidin Patrickia molemmista käsistä kiinni ja yritin estää sitä pääsemästä sen toisen miehen kimppuun käyttämällä samoja eleitä ja äänenpainoa kuin käyttäisin... um, no hieman toisenlaisessa tilanteessa... o____O

kyllä, se meni juurikin niin, että taputit olalle ja sanoit rohkaisevasti "baby steps, baby steps", kun yritin spagettijaloillani ylittää kynnyksen steriiliin testihuoneeseen, jonne oli simuloitu luonnollisen kaltainen jwalkin kohtaamisympäristö. o____________O
