The drabble and the commentary made for uncomfortable (but necessary) writing too. But I think it's important to write and read stuff that does have that effect on you. We should scrutinise and challenge out thoughts and behaviours... And when you deal with issues such as incest, or e.g. dub/non-con, it is doubly important to understand how and why you're handling it the way you are.
It makes me wonder just who made the first move. - Mikey isn't exactly an unwilling victim here. A lot of incest dynamics like this are case studies in unhealthy co-dependency and even if you take the sexual element out of it, their relationship wouldn't necessarily be any more 'normal'.
