Yet, I'm guessing it isn't entirely a surprise since, (a) Brendon needs an attention rich environment, and (b) Ryan doesn't read in the fic like someone who would be oblivious. Especially since Brendon is kind of transparent, so, my question is, what is Ryan upset about? That he didn't notice, that Brendon wasn't honest about his needs, a combination, or something else entirely?
