M is surprisingly good with the phontic thing - 20+ years of classical music ear-training will do that to you (she's been playing the harp since she was 4). She's got whole Korean albums down to understandable, acording to her Korean friend.

Okay, I will be very quiet on the podfic front. I forget that most people don't spend 10+ hours a day on headphones. With working a lot of overtime, podfic is saving my sanity and my hands, since I was killing myself matching beats with MCR nine hours a day.

i've been sitting here and staring for a good while now, not just because it surely is pretty to look at, but also because of the quote. it makes me pause and hmm and think. that plus the warm colours, lovely.

I have been doing the same ever since I first saw that photo. The quote is by Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi (a Persian poet from 13th century, there are several spellings of his name). There are also several translations of the poem in question, but I like this one:
