I has a broadband ... in theory anyway

*sigh*

In practice Virgin Media are "updating their service levels and terribly sorry for the inconvenience" but even though I have had everything installed this morning (hello additional TV channels! no more fuckig Jeremy Kyle in the mornings) I can't actually complete registration and get online until Saturday, possibly Sunday.

Which, you know, okay fine. But. Did they tell me this beforehand? Hell no.

Cue me throwing a hissyfit at some poor guy in an Indian call centre. I'm not paying for service I'm not getting so I demanded compensation (yes, it's not a lot money, but it's the principle here).

This means that I may not be online for the Robin Hood premiere on Saturday like planned. This makes Kat sad. *shimmering chibi-eyes*
