A lot of people on my f-list have gottens some sort of felines, which doesn't surprise me much considering the type of persons drawn to lj/fandom/online life... (and of course I daemons should be friends!)
Seriously? Wow. Although, I saw a group of people on somebody's friendspage this morning who all had insect daemons, so I think it's more a case of the type of persons who run in certain LJ circles...

I'm looking forward to the film in quite a tense way... I really hope they don't mess with it too much, although I know that kind of thing is inevitable. So long as it's good on its own, I'll probably be fine.

Mine was an Ocelot too, though I was scared for a while that it would be something ridiculous like a sheep or an ostrich. I'm still debating whether I should read the book now that the film is all imminent.

I would recommend the book unreservedly and plan on rereading before watching the movie myself.

I've seen the butterfly, a few spiders, a bird, most of the rest were all cats.
It is a fantastic icon, and seems to apply to most people in fandom...and my current WIP folder.
It's sad but true about the clothes though, you can never wear stuff like that in Tescos or wandering round the petshop. Though on the plus side you could plan a day out around your clothes rather than the other way around.
