How many times can you come back from the dead and still expect to live? Whatever the number, Harold has surely surpassed it now. When he finally emerges back to the world, the world has moved on. He’s relieved. It is as it should be. Harold doesn’t want anyone to be keeping fruitless vigil. 

A message finds him regardless; a photo of a blackbird, posted monthly on a darknet hacking forum. Unencrypting it reveals a set of map co-ordinates. 

Harold expected the ruins of his own making, not a chance to rebuild. 

He doesn’t deserve one. He takes it anyway.

I love how open-ended this story is, how it leaves room for the reader to interpret it as they will, particularly within the limits of only 100 words!
