First of three of inkblot_fiend's birthday drabbles.

Stargate Atlantis – implied McKay/Zelenka – dark/horror – PG-13

Crime

“Stop.”

Rodney doesn’t move from the console. “Shut up and let me work! We’ve got…” he glances at his watch. “…shit, less than thirteen minutes until the system catches on to me.” 

Radek walks to the edge of his cell. “What are you doing, Rodney?”

“Getting you out!” Rodney’s eyes squeeze shut. “It wasn’t you, okay?” 

“Please stop,” The words are low and sibilant. He’s standing right above Rodney, on the other side of the invisible barrier.

 “You’d rather die?” Rodney snaps, pulling out the last crystal. 

“I’ll still die,” Radek says. “Just not alone.”

The force field flickers out.

Hee, thank you very much! Halloween put me in mood for some dark fic. I have longer fics in works though sadly no evil!Radek. Drabbles seem to be the only thing I have time for lately though...

*sighs* I know the problem re: time. pushkin666 (below) and I have some funky stuff with evil!Radek plotted for a sequel for "Your Reward" but alas, time and so forth has not yet allowed it to become something outside of our evil!Radek-loving heads. ;-)
