Torchwood Drabbles: Leather, Stars

moth2fic’s birthday this Sunday. Usually I offer people three drabbles of their choice as a present, but for her three just isn’t enough. For those of you who don’t know, moth2fic has been like my saving grace over the last nine months or so. She’s moved me and my numerous material possessions twice, let me live with her rent free when I needed a place, donated me all sorts of stuff from desks to coffeemakers, given me paid employment, and generally just been a truly amazing friend.
For that and much more, moth2fic gets TEN DRABBLES for her birthday. She requested drabbles in five different fandoms, which is why I’m spreading them out throughout the week. The first two are below.

Torchwood – Ianto/Jack – R
Leather
“Shhh.” Jack's fingers are surprisingly gentle, soothing through his hair. “There’s no hurry.”
Ianto sighs, his hands slowing down, tracing the supple length of Jack’s belt where it curves around his waist. He presses his open mouth against the buckle; licks over the sharp taste of metal, tongue slipping into the dark gaps in between. Above him Jack makes a sound low in his throat, hips jerking forward.
He’d expected fast, no-time-for-second-thoughts fast, but it’s better this way; every movement careful and calculated, every touch deliberate. Ianto breathes in the heady, slick smell of leather, letting Jack set the pace.

Stars
Ianto huddles deeper into his suit jacket, the night air biting through the thin material with ease. The rooftop is slippery with frost as he walks over to Jack.
Above them the sky is endless and full of life. It doesn’t make Ianto feel small, just lucky. “Which one is yours?” he asks, head turned up toward the millions of pinpricks of light.
The silence stretches for a few seconds and then he feels a touch at the nape of his neck, Jack’s fingers brushing slowly against the exposed skin.
“This one,” Jack says, and Ianto can tell he’s smiling.
